I haven`t tested that myself, however it should be possible using the Item-Level targeting "IP Address Range"-option in GP Preferences .

How about roaming users, that are in different branch location on a give day of the week. For example, a company with 4 locations and some staff members work in all 4 branch offices, have you tried using the IP address from the local branch the user is in to configure the default printer? so the default printer changes based on the location of the user.
